Human being is a race gifted by God. Our ancestors Adam and Eve ate the “Forbidden Apple” and fall down to earth. Ever pondered? Who were your ancestors and their living style? Perhaps, they didn’t have any gadgets and mobile phone, but they survived. Our ancestors were tribal who slay animals and live in forest. Indeed, you are thinking right that how can tribal exist. However, there are many tribal groups which exist today itself. Clinging to their old traditions and customs, tribal still exist in 21st century. Moreover, their living manner and belief system will give you goose bump. For sure, you will not know that they even live with dead corpses; some eat corpses which will lead to salvation. Thankfully, I didn’t come across such any tribal. Here are some shocking stories of your ancestors tribal, which might leave you to think of your genes.

1. West Indies – Man steal each other’s wife

In West Africa, a Wodaabe Tribe of Niger is renowned to steal each other’s wives. Moreover, in Gerewol Festival, men of the tribe wear heavy makeup and costumes to impress women, and to steal a new wife from other men.  Perhaps, the women can intimate with anyone before marriage. Their first marriage is decided by their parents in childhood in same lineage. Furthermore, a men is able to steal a new wife from another men, if men doesn’t want to continue with their wife, and want to go with another stolen one. They become socially recognized and their marriage is called “Love Marriage”.

2. North America and East Siberia – Exchange wives to confuse evil spirit people

People have strange practices of North America and East Siberia. The natives believe that by exchanging their wife, they can change their individual identities and confuse the evil spirits during catastrophe. Even more, a father can indulge in intercourse with his underage son’s wife and can bring offspring. Natives believe that a menstruating woman is impure and can cause for drowning of a men in sea. The custom of multiple husbands and wives is common trend among these native.

3. India – Cannibalism and Necrophagy

Aghori Sadhus are famous for their association with cannibalism and making love with corpses. They are dark skinned, dressed in black clothes, and devotee of Lord Shiva. Following upon their practice of consuming dead bodies afloat in the Ganga River. According to Hinduism, there are five types of dead bodies which are not cremated – unmarried woman, children, pregnant women, and people died from snake bite. However, accepting such rituals Aghori Baba achieves enlightenment and salvation.

4. Malaysia – Fire Walking

Walking barefoot over a bed of hot stones, Malaysian people consider it as a ritual of purification. It is a myth that fire will overcome their impurity and repel evil influences. Walking symbolize a men’s strength and will free them from curse of hell. In contrast to this fire walking, a Nine Emperor Gods Festival in Penang, Malaysia celebrates fire walking.

5. Indonesia – Living with the Dead

Living with the corpse with their garments is a ritual practiced followed by Toraja tribe of Indonesia. Draped in special garments, corpses are paraded around the village. These people believe that it is carried out to clean their corpses and will born as a human being.
